Laura Dean Sings “Una donna a quindici anni” from Cosi Fan Tutte
If you’ve seen the credits for our show, you know who Laura Dean is — she’s been the recording engineer for It Might Get Personal since Episode 14. She was also a guest on episode 13 with her Tall Sheep bandmate Jeremy Anderson.
When Laura first said she wanted to sing an aria, I had no idea she had even studied opera. Of course I was excited. I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to work, but Laura came up with the guitar chords, and we ran through it a few times, then just hit record. It came out even better than I had imagined it would. I love the piece. Laura is a great talent and fantastic to work with.
